Infento Vehicles

Location: San Diego Mesa College - 7250 Mesa College Dr, San Diego, CA 92111
Time: 8am to 3:30pm
A mechanical engineering course where students follow industry procedures to design, build, and race Infento Formula-style vehicles, RC cars, and rideable mechanical motor vehicles.
In Infento Formula Car Race, students are immersed in mechanical engineering principles and professional build procedures modeled after real-world automotive and motorsport industries. Working in structured engineering teams, students design, assemble, and test Infento Formula-style race cars, RC vehicles, and a rideable mechanical motor vehicle, applying concepts such as force, motion, gearing, torque, and structural integrity. Emphasizing safety, documentation, and iterative testing, students follow industry-standard workflows from blueprint to performance testing. The course culminates in racing and performance evaluations, reinforcing how engineers optimize designs for speed, control, and reliability.
