An industry-aligned game development course where students design, code, and produce playable video games using professional creative and technical workflows.
In this course, students explore the full game development pipeline by bringing original game concepts to life through design, coding, audio production, scripting, and narration. Using microStudio, a beginner-friendly yet powerful game development environment inspired by Lua, students learn how professional developers prototype and build games efficiently. With clear documentation and interactive tools, students can create impressive, playable demos using just a few lines of code. More advanced students have the opportunity to code in JavaScript, Python, or Lua. Emphasizing creativity, technical execution, and iteration, this course mirrors real-world game studios where multidisciplinary teams collaborate to ship playable experiences.
